Benue State Football Association (BSFA) Chairman, Chief Barr. Paul Edeh says he's still in shock after gunmen suspected to be assassins, on Sunday invaded his Abuja residence, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The gun-wielding men who broke into Edeh's residence carrying several weapons in the wee hours of Sunday carted away valuables worth millions of naira.

Edeh, who confirmed that the FCT Police Command through Asokoro Divisional Headquarters has been notified concerning the ugly incident, said.

“I’m still in shock because such an attack which was done only on my house is unbelievable. It was around 6 am that I received a call from Abuja that my house was burgled and that my room was ransacked with my laptops which contained several information and documents taken away.

“The invaders also took away my wife's and children’s phones including other valuables. The incident has been reported to FCT Police.”

Recall the Benue FA egg-head was away to his state to commiserate with the family of the late Apa Local Football Council Area Chairman as well as flag off an ongoing U17 Grassroots Football Tournament.
