Big Boost For Super Eagles As Collins Returns To Action

The preparation of Nigeria's Super Eagles for match days 3 and 4 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier received a big boost on Saturday morning after the injured defender Jamiu Collins recovered and is set to return to action for Cardiff City, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International has been out of action during preseason and he missed the qualifiers against Benin and Rwanda and also club early season games. The manager of Cardiff City Erol Bulut on Saturday morning certified that Collins is in line to play against Leeds United in the Championship game this weekend. " He ( Collins) trained with us all week so he's available", the manager said. The Welsh club has just a point in 5 matches this season.
