Birmingham 2022: I Expect Enough Medals From Team Nigeria Wrestlers- Coach Akuh

Head coach of Team Nigeria female wrestlers Purity Akuh has said he is expecting enough medals from the wrestler going by the level of the preparations, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

Team Nigeria in wrestling will take to the mats on Friday as the event start in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

As the team continue to prepare, Akuh said they trained and work hard enough to be able to get enough medals in the tournament.

"I expect enough medals because we have put in a lot of effort and trained hard.

"We trained and camped in Bayelsa State for a couple of weeks and we also attended a couple of tournaments this year to get ourselves ready for this tournament and we are ready to make Nigeria proud," he said.
