Blankson Excited Over Rivers Angels' Valuable Away Point In Abuja

Head Coach Tosan Blankson of Rivers Angels has expressed excitement to pick a valuable away point in the Match Day 2 NWFL encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Rivers Angels played out a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Naija Ratels in Abuja, bringing an end to their four-match winning streak against Naija Ratels.

Blankson praised Naija Ratels for giving his team a tough challenge.

"I never knew that Naija Ratels had a good team till the game started, that I saw they're well-organized. It was a valuable point on the road for us."

Blankson also looked ahead to their next match against Robo FC.

 "We would take our matches one after the other. We are going back to prepare for the Robo match, and victory will be ours."

Despite dropping points, the Jewels of Rivers will take heart from securing a vital away point and will look to bounce back in their next match.
