Precious Oham
Heartland Technical Adviser, Kennedy Boboye has assured that his players will improve on their goal scoring lapses in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.Â
Boboye gave the assurance in his post-match reactions after his side defeated Akwa United 1-0 in MatchDay 14 of the NPFL at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.Â
Boboye, who noted that Heartland is not a bad team, added that they will keep working hard to move out of the relegation zone.Â
"It bothers me because it's a Nigeria problem, not just Heartland issue but we keep working during our training sessions in goal scoring activities.
"The most important thing is the three points. We have gotten that and this one is done and dusted. We are looking forward to our game in Gombe with Doma United. We will keep pushing because we need to get out from where we are in no time.Â
"The team is not a bad team. It's a team that started and ran out of luck but when you watch them play, you definitely know they are not a bad team."
Heartland, who are 18th on the log will travel to Gombe to confront Doma United in their next league game.
