Bocknor Academy Makes It Double In Gwagwalada, Wins FA Cup

Bocknor Football Academy at the weekend emerged as winners of the Gwagwalada FA Cup, reports BSNSports.com.ng

The Team had penultimate week emerged champions of the 2023 edition of the Gwagwalada League. 

In the final of the FA Cup, Bocknor Academy defeated the Sheikhadam FC by a lone goal to make it doubles in Gwagwalada.

In a well competed final, the Bocknor boys had to rely on a 56th minute goal from Praise Anayo to seal the victory. Though, the Bocknor boys dominated the encounter for the better part of the game, but poor marksmanship in front of goal deprived them of major impact.

The FA Cup however marked the end of an eventful season in Gwagwalada Football Council which had included the Bassey U13, Bocknor U15, ECN U17, Gwagwalada League and the FA Cup.
