Botched AFCON Qualifier: Libya Replies CAF, Final Verdict Set For Wednesday

Almost a week after the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier between Libya and Nigeria was botched, the Libya Football Federation has replied to the Disciplinary Committee of CAF, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The football body last week gave Libya Federation October 20 as the deadline to respond to the allegations against them.
The Federation on Monday responded to the African soccer governing body and the Disciplinary Committee has stated that Wednesday 23rd of October will be the decision about the game.
Nigeria's Super Eagles are currently leading the group with 7 points while Libya is rock bottom with just a point in 3 games.
