Boxing: Jake Paul Beats Mike Tyson

Jake Paul, YouTuber-turned-boxer, defeated former heavyweight boxer 'Iron' Mike Tyson on Saturday in their highly-anticipated boxing showdown at the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium, reports BSNSports.com.

Paul proved too strong for Tyson in the Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions‘ (MVP) heavyweight boxing mega-event, which was streamed live globally on the platform.

The YouTuber kept doing enough to ensure his 11th victory in 12 fights but not sufficient to inflict serious damage on a man who got older with every round.

The fight was only decided in the last round (eight) as Tyson stood his ground despite attempts by Paul to knock him out.

Paul then had his hand raised and won by unanimous decision, with one judge scoring it 80-72, and the other two 79-73 in his favour.

At 58, Tyson has 50 wins and six losses, with 44 wins by knockout. Reigning as the undisputed heavyweight world champion from 1987 to 1990, Friday marked Tyson’s first professional fight since his 2020 match against Roy Jones Jr., which was declared a draw.
