Breaking! Former NFF's General Secretary, World Cup Winner's Account Hacked!

The Facebook page of former Nigeria Football Federation General Secretary, Fanny Amun has been hacked, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The hacker had contacted some of his friends on Facebook, one of those contacted by the hacker advised the general public to be cautious with messages coming from the suspected hackers. He wrote, "Please, I am sure coach Fanny Amun Facebook account has been hacked, Please, be cautious of any message from him , he is not the one. His messenger entered my D.m and was asking for my WhatsApp number, to give me free Data, I just know it was scam.

Confirming this, the former FIFA U17 world cup winner said, "Please, l got distress calls from people requesting same but PLEASE IGNORE. The (Facebook) page was hacked in the past hour. Amb fanny AMUN MON without EY. Happy new year to all please circulate same." 

Fanny Ikhayere Amun (born 1 October 1962) is a Nigerian former football player and coach. 

In 1993, Amun coached the Nigeria national under-17 team at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Japan, helping the team win the competition. He coached the under-20 team in 1995 at the 1995 African Youth Championship, hosted by Nigeria.

Amun was appointed assistant coach of the Nigeria national team for the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France. He was Secretary-General for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Amun retired as an Assistant Director in the Federal Ministry of Sports in 2007.
