Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hurzeler has expressed his excitement about working with newly-signed Nigerian winger Zadok Yohanna following the youngster's move to the Premier League club, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Seagulls confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old attacker from Swedish side AIK Stockholm on a five-year contract on Saturday, with Hurzeler confident that the teenager will strengthen the club's attacking options.

Speaking on the club's latest acquisition, Hurzeler highlighted Yohanna's ability to influence matches in the final third.

"I’m looking forward to working with Zadok. Having seen his games and his attributes, he is a player that can impact games in the final third," Hurzeler said.

The Brighton boss acknowledged that the young forward would need time to settle into life in England but believes his qualities make him an exciting prospect for the club's supporters.

"He’s still young and will need time to adapt to the club and the Premier League, but he’s an exciting player to watch and he brings the kind of creativity we know our fans will enjoy.

"He’s dynamic, has pace and likes to take players on. His attributes and ability will be a real addition to our attacking options."

Yohanna arrives at Brighton from AIK Stockholm after establishing himself as one of Nigeria's brightest young talents, and expectations will be high as he begins a new chapter in the English top flight.
