Budapest 2023: Ghana Pulls Out Of The Relay Race

Ghana Athletics Association has announced its withdrawal from the 4X100 meter men's relay in the 2023 World Athletics Championship in Budapest, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Athletics body released the statement concerning its withdrawal from the event citing injuries as the reason for its action.

The body confirmed that the duo of Joseph Paul Amoah and James Dadzie were injured and would not recover in time for the race.

Both athletes sustained injuries during the 200-meter heat and after a thorough check, it was confirmed they won't recover in time for the relay race.
