Bundesliga: Awoniyi Enjoys Life At Union Berlin

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Taiwo Awoniyi seems to be enjoying his stay with the German Bundesliga side Union Berlin, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

Since joining the Berlin-based club Awoniyi has become a household name putting up an amazing performance in every game.

While speaking to the Bundesliga news outlet, a former Gent striker narrated how everyone at the club has supported him.

" From the directors to the coaches and the players they are friendly guys and people at Union.

We stay together as a family and I think everyone that comes into this kind of atmosphere will enjoy it, we love what the coach is doing and that is what integrated me into the team early.

For the coach to take you in, sit you down tell you what he wants and what is expected of you and joke with you and work with you this is what a parent does for their children, everything he has does is what my father has told me," he said.

Awoniyi remained the club's top scorer this season scoring 15 goals in all competition.
