Bundesliga: Boniface Returns To Training, Not Certain To Face Bremen

After suffering a minor injury in a ghastly car accident, Nigeria's Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has returned to training with his teammates, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian International was involved in a car accident earlier in the week and missed the UEFA Champions League game against Brest during the week.

After missing the game, Boniface resumed training on Friday morning, but the team coach, Xabi Alonso, during a press conference, revealed that he is not certain if he will play this weekend.

" We will decide after the training session whether Boniface will come with us".

" But we have a very prepared squad, everyone is prepared and everyone is ready when we need them", he said.

Leverkusen will face Werder Bremen this weekend in a Bundesliga match.
