Nigerian youngster Unchenna Ogundu made his official debut in the Bundesliga on Saturday as FC Augsburg staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Werder Bremen 3-2 away from home, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogundu, who joined Augsburg during the winter transfer window, was handed his first appearance in the German top flight in the keenly contested encounter at Bremen.

The Nigerian forward was introduced in the 81st minute with Augsburg trailing 2-1. 

His presence injected fresh energy into the visitors’ attack as they mounted late pressure in search of an equaliser.

Augsburg’s persistence paid off with two late goals that turned the game on its head, sealing a remarkable 3-2 victory and securing maximum points on the road.
