Bundesliga II: Braunschweig Boss Rues Absence Of Super Eagles Forward

Ahead of the German Bundesliga II game slated for this weekend, the boss of Eintracht Braunschweig Scherning is rueing the absence of Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Anthony Ujah, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Union Berlin striker has been a key player for the club since he arrived at the club a few seasons ago.

Ujah has started the season on fire, scoring vital goals for the club before he sustained an injury.

He was unavailable for the last weekend's game in which Braunschweig lost to HSV.

The team coach on Thursday during a press conference felt his absence is hurting the team and he also confirmed that he will be back in action next week.

"It's clear that Tony Ujah isn't here, but there is light at the end of the tunnel, I expect him to start training next week", he said.

Ujah was part of the Super Eagles team in the FIFA Confederation Cup in 2013 in Brazil under late coach Stephen Keshi
