Burkina Faso Beat Togo In WAFU B U20 Championship

Burkina Faso on Sunday night defeated Togo 2-0 in the ongoing WAFU B U20 Women's Championship at the Baba Yara Stadium, Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Burkina Faso U20 girls team scored two goals in each half to come out victorious in the encounter.

Mounifatou Helbi put Burkina Faso ahead in the 29th minute before Woman Of The Match, Halimata Balem added the second goal in the 83rd.

The Togolese fought so hard to to reduce the deficit but gave up to the superior power of the Burkina Babes.

Earlier, Falconets humiliated Niger Republic U20 girls 7-0. With the result, Burkina Faso are second to Nigeria while Togo are 3rd with Niger Republic 4th on the log.

Nigeria will face Togo U20 girls on 24th before locking horns with Burkina Faso on 28th in the last group game
