Burkina Faso Pip Ghana To Set Up U17 WAFU B Final With Nigeria

Burkina Faso in the second semi-final pipped Ghana 1-0 to set up a final match in the ongoing U17 WAFU B tourney with Golden Eaglets of Nigeria, BSNSports com.ng can report.


Nigeria had in the first semi-final defeated the defending champions, Côte d'Ivoire 3-1 to become the third African countries to book the CAF U17 African Nations Cup ticket.


Aside qualification for the final, the two finalists, Burkina Faso and Nigeria have also picked the two West African tickets for the U17 African Nations Cup to be hosted by Algeria in March 2023.


The final match will hold on Friday, 24 June, 2022 at the Cape Coast Stadium at 8:30 pm (Nigeria time) while the Third Place match between Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire holds 5:00 pm at the same Stadium.
