CAF Award: Ademola Lookman Makes Final List

The Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has officially announced the final shortlist for this year's most prestigious African Player of the Year, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The football body on Thursday evening reviewed the list of shortlisted players and Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman retained his position on the list.

 The Nigerian International has been in splendid form since the start of the year with a superb performance in the 2023 African Cup of Nations Cup in Ivory Coast.

He was also instrumental in Atalanta winning the UEFA Europa League, scoring a hat trick in the final of the competition.

For the award, Lookman will be up against Achraf Hakimi ( Morocco), Serge Guirassy ( Guinea), Simon Adingra ( CIV) and Ronwen Williams ( South Africa).

The winner of the award will be announced on the 16th of December in Marrakech, Morocco.
