CAF Award: Adingra Don't Deserve The Award - Ivorian Sporting Director Causes Stirs

Barely 24 hours to the announcement of the 2024 African Player of the Year, Ivory Coast Sporting Director Roger Stepane has caused a stir in the country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Elephants attacker Simon Adingra is among the final nominees alongside Ademola Lookman (Nigeria), Achraf Hakimi (Morocco), Serge Guirassy (Guinea) and Ronwen Williams (South Africa)

Stephane on Sunday, cause a stir across in the country when he made a statement that Adingra do not deserve to win the award.

" You ( Adingra) do not deserve the African Ballon d'Or ", he said.

The statement has led to some crisis among the stakeholders in the country and in the sports circle.

The winner will be announced in Marakech, Morocco on Monday.
