CAF Awards: Osimhen, Ajibade Make Final Cut

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen and Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade have been named among the final nominees for the 2025 CAF Awards in the men’s and women’s categories respectively, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In the Men’s Player of the Year category, Osimhen, who won the prestigious award in 2023, will battle Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi and Egypt’s Mohamed Salah for the top honour.

Meanwhile, Super Falcons captain Ajibade is among the final three contenders for the Women’s Player of the Year award. She will go head-to-head with Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy.

The winners will be announced at the CAF Awards ceremony scheduled to take place later this year.
