CAF Awards: Osimhen, Oshoala New King, Queen of Africa- Drogba

Ivory Coast football legend, Didier Drogba has described Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala as the new King and Queen of Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen bagged the Africa Player of the Year (Men) while Oshoala won a record-extending sixth award as Africa Player of the Year (Women). 

Drogba, who was named African Footballer of the Year twice, added that he can't wait to see the Super Eagles at the 2023 AFCON that will be hosted in Ivory Coast. 

He said: "Long live the new King and Queen of Africa, Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala. Congratulations my Nigerian People. We are waiting for you in January at 2023 AFCON."
