CAF Awards 2023: Osimhen Dedicates Award To Amunike

The 2023 Africa Men's Player of the Year, Victor Osimhen, has dedicated his award to Nigerian legend Emmanuel Amunike, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Osimhen, who broke the 24-year jinx to become the best male player in the continent, hailed Amunike who tutored him as an U-17 player that paved the way for his illustrious career.

According to Osimhen, "Thank you God for everything. Special thanks goes to Emmanuel Amunike without him I don't think I would be here receiving this award. I appreciate Nigeria, and Africa for the encouragement over the years."
