Falconets forward, Chiamaka Okwuchukwu has made the final shortlist for the 2024 CAF Women’s Young Player of the Year, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Okwuchukwu's performance at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup for Falconets helped her to be shortlisted.

The youngster scored two goals in four outings for Chris Danjuma’s side at the competition.

The Falconets failed to progress to the next round as they were sent packing by the Japanese ladies in the Round of 16 of the competition.

Okwuchukwu will go head to head with Egypt’s Habiba Sabry and Doha El Madani of Morocco for the award.

The award ceremony will be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16.
