According to CAF, the AFCON 2027 group stage draw is scheduled to take place in March 2027, while the opening match of the tournament will be played on June 19, 2027.
The final, which will bring the competition to a close, is slated for July 17, 2027.
The 2027 edition of AFCON will mark the first time the continent's flagship football tournament will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, highlighting a historic moment for East African football.
