CAFCL: Esperance Star Trio Out, As Tunisian Giants Name Squad For Plateau United

The opponent of the Nigeria representative Plateau United in the Champions League Esperance has released the list of players that will prosecute the game, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite the Tunisia league on break, former African champions have been in closed camp and engaging in serious practice matches to put them in shape for the game.

As they set to depart for Nigeria on Thursday the team head coach Nabil Maaloul announced the 24-man list without three key players.

The trio of Ben Romdhane, Yaakoubi and Machmoum was left out of the team.

The game is slated for Sunday at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja with the reverse fixture coming up in Tunis next weekend.
