Ahead of the second leg game of the CAF champions league against Watanga FC, the head coach of Rivers United Stanley Eguma has said the injured players will be assessed to know if they will be available for the tie, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The Nigeria champions defeated Watanga 3-0 at the Adoke Amasiamaka stadium on Sunday and the result came with a cost as some of the players got injured in the course of the game.

Eguma said they will be checked to know if they can come back within a short period.

"We will assess the level of their injury to know if the players will be able to play in the second leg or not, within a short period", he said.

The second leg match is slated for the Sam Kenyon stadium in Monrovia next weekend.
