CAF CL: Wydad Casablanca Announce Date And Venue For Rivers United Game

With the first leg yet to take place, CAF Champions League defending champions Wydad Casablanca have announced the date and venue for the second tie against Rivers United, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

Rivers United will host the first leg of the qualifying round of the Champions League at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium on Sunday.

The Moroccan side is expected to arrive in Nigeria later on Friday for the first-leg match.

Wydad on Friday afternoon announced Mohammed V Sports Complex as the venue on Sunday the 16th of October.

The winner over the two legs encounter will reach the group stage of the competition, while the loser drops to the playoffs rounds of the Confederation Cup.
