CAF Cancels CHAN Qualifying Match

The Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has confirmed the cancellation of the qualifying match of the Championship of African Nations ( CHAN), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The cancelled game was supposed to be between Ethiopia and Eritrea, scheduled for next week.

According to the update from the football body, the game will not take place again after Eritrea failed to raise a home-based team for the game.

Ethiopia would now advance to the next round, in which they would face the winner between Tanzania and Sudan.
