CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup Get Kick-Off Date

Barely a month after the completion of 2021/2022 CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, the African soccer ruling body has announced the kick-off date for the 2022/2023 edition of the competitions, BSNsports.com.ng gathered.

The two titles are presently residing in Morocco, Wydad Casablanca defeated defending champions, Al Ahly of Egypt in the final of the Champions League while RS Berkane beat Orlando Pirates of South Africa in the Confederation Cup final.

According to the report coming from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the preliminary rounds will start on the 12th of August, 2022.

The group stage will start on the 18th of September, 2022 while the knockout rounds will take place in February 2023 after the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).

The football body is yet to announce the country that will host the final of both tournaments.
