CAF Confederation Cup: Remo Stars To Host ASFAR In Ikenne

Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup Remo Stars are set to host their home game against the Morrocan side AS FAR at home in Ikenne, BSNsports.com.ng understands.

The Sky Blue Boys qualified to represent the country after they finished third in 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The African soccer governing body released the name of the approved stadiums that can host CAF matches a few weeks ago but Remo Stadium in Ikenne was not listed.

The inspection team of theAfrican governing body was on hand to inspect the pitch and facilities at Remo stadium in Ikenne Ogun State and seemed to have satisfied with what they saw.

According to the report coming from the camp of the team, the African soccer ruling body seems to grant Remo Stadium a provisional license to play its home game at home in Ikenne.

 Apart from Rivers United, Remo Stars are another Nigeria side that will play their home game at home, both Plateau United and Kwara United will play their home match at an adopted venues.
