CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United Eye Positive Result In Ghana

Rivers United have arrived in Kumasi, Ghana and are hopeful of getting positive result in their CAF Confederation Cup second group match against Dream FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The players and their officials departed the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos early Friday morning and arrived the host country an hour later to get ready for the crucial encounter. The team will train today on the pitch in readiness for the tie.

Rivers United will take on Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Sunday. The encounter will kick-off at 5pm Nigeria time.

Stanley Eguma’s side defeated Angola’s Academica do Lobito 3-0 in their opening group fixture. Dreams FC on other hand lost 2-0 to Club Africain of Tunisia. A win for the Nigerians will boost their chances of qualifying from the group.
