The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the venues for matchdays 9 and 10 of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Morocco set to host five key fixtures during the October international window, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Scheduled from October 8 to 12, these matches mark a crucial stage in Africa’s road to the 2026 World Cup, which will take place across the United States, Canada, and Mexico from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

CAF has reportedly scaled back the number of matches to be held in Morocco, a notable change from previous windows in which the North African nation hosted up to 10 fixtures. For the upcoming round, only five matches will be played on Moroccan soil, with 13 others relocated to different venues across the continent.

October 8 | Casablanca (Al-Arabi Zouali Stadium): Djibouti vs Egypt

October 8 | El Jadida (El Abdi Stadium): Central African Republic vs Ghana

October 10 | Casablanca (Mohammed V Stadium): Guinea vs Botswana (date unofficial)

October 10 | Rabat (Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium): Morocco vs Congo-Brazzaville (date unofficial)

October 12 | El Jadida (Al-Arabi Zouali Stadium): Djibouti vs Sierra Leone
