CAF Election: Pinnick Makes Final Cut, Eto'o Misses Out

Ahead of the upcoming Confederation of African Football (CAF) elections, the body has revealed the candidates who will contest for various positions, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Former Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Melvin Pinnick is among the prominent figures who made the final list for the FIFA Elective Council.

Other candidates for the FIFA Elective Council include Fouzi Lekja (Morocco), Augustin Senghor (Senegal), and Andrew Kamanga (Zambia), among others.

However, Samuel Eto'o, the president of FECAFOOT, was notably absent from the list.

The Cameroonian football legend had previously expressed interest in running for the position of CAF president, alongside incumbent Patrice Motsepe.
