CAF Executive Committee Holds Virtual Meeting On Thursday

The Executive Committee of the African soccer ruling body is set to hold its meeting on Thursday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The readiness of the pioneer teams of the upcoming African Football League is expected to be on the top agenda of the football body.
The situation of Petro De Luanda one of the participating clubs will also be fully discussed in the meeting.
The Angolan side was banned for 2 years last weekend by the Angola Football Federation following a match-fixing allegation levied against them.
CAF further confirmed that the meeting be held virtually.
" The Confederation of African Football (“CAFâ€) Executive Committee (“EXCOâ€) will hold a virtual meeting on Thursday, 07 September 2023.
The meeting will be chaired by CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe", CAF said.
