CAF Executive Committee Meeting Postponed Amid Travel Challenges

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee meeting scheduled to take place in the United States has been postponed after several African football officials were unable to travel for the event, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Contrary to reports suggesting that a CAF meeting was held in the USA, no official Executive Committee meeting took place.

The postponement was largely due to the absence of a significant number of African football leaders, many of whom did not travel to the United States for the FIFA World Cup semi-finals and final.

Some officials reportedly encountered visa-related challenges, making it difficult for them to attend.

CAF is expected to announce a new date for the Executive Committee meeting in due course.
