CAF Inter-Clubs: Rangers, Rivers United, Shooting Stars, El-Kanemi Face August 15 Deadline

Nigerian clubs participating in the 2026/27 CAF inter-club competitions have been given an August 15 deadline to submit their squad lists for the first preliminary round, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The deadline applies to all clubs taking part in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, including Nigeria’s representatives Rangers International, Rivers United, Shooting Stars and El-Kanemi Warriors.

Rangers and Rivers United will represent Nigeria in the CAF Champions League, while Shooting Stars and El-Kanemi Warriors will campaign in the Confederation Cup.

The clubs are expected to complete the registration of their eligible players and submit their squad lists to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) before the deadline.

Failure to meet the registration deadline could affect the participation of the clubs in the opening round of Africa’s premier club competitions.
