CAF Invites Peseiro To African Coaches Symposium In Abidjan

Following his remarkable feat with Nigeria's Super Eagles at the 2023 African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, the African soccer governing body, CAF, has invited Jose Peseiro to the upcoming African Coaches Symposium, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Portuguese gaffer led the Nigerian side to the final of the 2023 AFCON where they lost 2-1 to the host country, Cote D'Ivoire.

The continent football apex body on Tuesday listed Peseiro among the panelists selected to attend the two-day event.

The Elephants of Ivory Coast coach, Emerse Fae is also on the list.

Not less than 50 coaches from the CAF's member association are also expected to be in attendance.

The focus of the symposium will be on the performance of each national team that participated at the last AFCON.

CAF president Patrice Motsepe and the president of the Federation of the Ivorian Football, Yacine Idriss Diallo, are expected to open the event.
