CAF Names Burkina Faso Ref For Medeama Versus Remo Stars Clash

Africa's apex football organ CAF has named Burkina Faso referee Vincent Kabore to take charge of the Champions League preliminary round game between Ghanaian champions Medeama SC and Nigeria Premier Football League side Remo Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The experienced match official will be assisted by compatriots Daouda Traore (Assistant I), Levy Sawadogo (Assistant II) and Hamidou Diero (Fourth referee).

Kasho J Holland-Cole from Sierra Leone will work as the Commissioner while Dr. Christiana Baah operates as the Medical Officer for the match.

This clash is scheduled for 3pm kick off at the Cape Coast stadium on Sunday, August 20, before the Sky Blues welcome the Ghanaians to their home in Ikenne a week later.

The winner of the tie will play Horoya AC of Guinea in the next round.
