CAF Names Venue For 2023 AFCON Draw

With one Matchday to go in the qualifier, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the draw venue of the competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Out of the 24 slots available, only 14 have been secured, as some teams are still in the race to book a spot in the tournament.

The Secretary General of the football body Veron Omba Mosengo was in Ivory Coast earlier in the week to have meetings with the Local Organising Committee (LOC).

The football ruling body on Friday announced Parc Des Expositions in Abidjan as the host venue for the event which is slated for the 12th of October.

Nigeria's Super Eagles are among the 14 teams that have already booked their place in the competition.
