CAF Opens Bids For Host Of U17, U20 AFCONS, Awards

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has opened bids for hosts of the U17 and U20 African Nations Cups as well as the 2025 CAF Awards, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

After eventually fixing dates for Africa Cup of Nations 2025 and the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, the Confederation of African Football still have to search for countries interested in hosting the age grade competitions.

Morocco were the hosts for the last editions of the CAF Awards and Women’s Champions League. The confederation which opened the bids hopes to get possible responses by the time of the 46th CAF Ordinary General Assembly in Kinshasa, DR Congo on Thursday 10 October 2024.

Algeria was chosen as hosts of the 14th edition which it organized from 29 April to 19 May, 2023. Egypt hosted the last edition of the U20 AFCON which was won by Senegal.
