The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has selected Morocco as the host nation for the upcoming U-17 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The decision is part of CAF’s continued effort to ensure a smooth and competitive qualification process for African teams aiming to secure slots at the global tournament.

Morocco, which has recently hosted several major continental competitions, is expected to provide top-class facilities and organization for the qualifiers, further strengthening its reputation as a reliable host on the African football scene.

Meanwhile, Nigeria national under-17 football team, popularly known as the Golden Eaglets, remain the most successful side in the history of the competition, having won the title a record five times.
