CAF PlayOffs: Libya Al Akhdar, Al Nasr To Arrive in Nigeria On Chartered Aircraft

Libyan Premier League duo of Al Akhdar and Al Nasr will be flying from Benghazi into Nigeria aboard the same chartered aircraft for the 1st leg of the playoff, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The CAF Confederation Cup Playoffs involving the four teams are billed for November 2.

Plateau United will take on Al Akhdar FC at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja while Rivers United square up to Al Nasr FC at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

It was gathered when top Libyan Embassy staff in Nigeria paid a courtesy call at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday.

Both Al Akhdar and Al Nasr are ruminating over flying into Nigeria this weekend aboard the same chartered aircraft, which will drop the Al Akhdar delegation in Abuja before proceeding to Port Harcourt with the Al Nasr group.

The second leg will take place on Wednesday, 9th November in Benghazi, as the winners of the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs are guaranteed spots in the money-spinning group stage of the competition.
