CAF President To Meet Gusau, Others In Algeria

The president of the Confederation of African Football, Patrice Motsepe, is scheduled to meet with the presidents of the 54 member associations including the president of the Nigeria Football Federation Ibrahim Gusau, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 24 hours before the commencement of the 2023 Championship of the African Nations competition that will take place in Algeria.

According to CAF, Dr Motsepe will discuss some key matters at CAF including the strategic turn-around to make CAF self-sustaining and globally competitive.  

Out of the 54-member association, only 18 will compete for honour in Algeria as others failed to qualify for the biennial competition.

The meeting will take place at the Algeria capital, Agiers.
