CAF Ranks Nigeria Among Top Five Most Tickets Sold At 2023 AFCON

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday released a data showing the Super Eagles of Nigeria as the fourth team to have sold most tickets at the 2023 African Nations Cup which commences on January 11, 2024, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As expected, the hosts, Ivory Coast recorded the highest number if ticket sold with 32,307 tickets already sold out as at Thursday. 

Surprisingly, Nigeria group opponents, Guinea-Bissau with 28,314 tickets sold came second. Equatorial Guinea who will trade tackles with the Super Eagles in their first match in 14th January sold 16,237 tickets. 

 The 2013 African Nations Cup winners, Nigeria have sold 12,544 ticejts while, Senegal came fifth with 10,959 ticket sold.

The statistics showed that Nigeria group which also have Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea at the AFCON have sold the most tickets as all the four teams in the group were listed in the Top 5.
