CAF Send Notice To Nigeria, Others To Bid For AFCON 2025

African soccer ruling body has sent out a notice to the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) and other member associations to submit their bid if they are interested in the hosting of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.

The football body in September stripped Guinea of the hosting right of the tournament after they failed to meet the requirements in terms of facilities and infrastructure.

CAF call on the member association to submit their bid if they wish to stage the competition.

" The Confederation of African Football (“CAF”) has re-opened the bidding process for the hosting rights of the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations 2025 ("AFCON 2025”). 

CAF today sent a notice to the Member Associations to express their interest in hosting the AFCON 2025 including the process that will be followed in the selection of the host country or countries", the statements read.

The interested country has until December 16th to perfect their bidding process while CAF will officially announce the host country in February, 2023.
