CAF Set To Host Champions League, Confederation Cup Draws In Rabat

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is considering hosting the draw for the preliminary rounds of the 2026/27 CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of August 10, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to reports, the draw is expected to take place on the sidelines of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, which will be staged in Morocco from July 26 to August 16.

The draw will determine the preliminary round fixtures for clubs participating in both CAF inter-club competitions as they begin their quest for continental glory in the new season.

Rabat is being considered as the venue due to its role as one of the host cities for the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, with CAF officials expected to be present throughout the tournament.
