CAF Set To Take Decision On AFCON 2023, 2025

According to report coming from the headquarters of the African soccer ruling body, (CAF), its executive arm is set to take a crucial decision on the next African Cup of Nation's hosts, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
CAF under its former President Issa Hayatou gave the hosting right of the 2023 AFCON to Ivory Coast and 2025 to Guinea.
Apart from CAF not being satisfied with the level of readiness of Ivory Coast for the competition next year, the qualifiers have commenced.
And the tournament is slated to take place in the summer of 2023 but stakeholders in the game have continued to mount pressure on CAF to shift the date due to weather conditions in the continent.
As it concerns Guinea 2025, the organising committee of CAF is far from being satisfied with their level of preparations.
To this end, CAF is set to take a crucial decision about both tournaments, Ivory Coast 2023 that suppose to take place in the summer of 2023 may be move to January/February 2024 while Guinea may lose the hosting right of the competition.
