CAF Super League: CAF Visits TP Mazembe

Ahead of the inaugural edition of the Super League, the delegation of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has visited DR Congo side TP Mazembe, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

They inspected the quality of the playing area, the comfort of the seats in the stands, the VIP boxes, the accessibility and other compartments.

Muhammad F. SIDAT, head of professional football at CAF, explains the merits of his team's visit to Lubumbashi.

“This visit is part of the preparation for this competition. We were in Cairo, Tunis, and Casablanca, visiting the big clubs on the continent and the big stadiums. 

The competition at the initial stage is made up of 24 teams but for the first edition that which is consider a pilot there will be eight clubs chosen according to the CAF ranking of the last five years.
