The Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) will convene an emergency meeting this weekend, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The meeting, scheduled for March 29, will be presided over by CAF President Patrice Motsepe, with key issues at the top of the agenda.
Among the major points for deliberation are recent decisions taken by the CAF Appeal Committee, which have generated significant attention across the continent. The Executive Committee is expected to review these outcomes and determine the next line of action.
Also on the agenda is the vacant position of CAF Secretary General. The role became open following the decision of Veron Omba Mosengo to step aside due to age-related considerations.
The upcoming meeting is expected to provide clarity on both administrative and legal matters, as CAF continues efforts to strengthen governance and decision-making processes within African football.
