CAF Unveils A New Super Cup Trophy

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a new trophy for the Super Cup competition, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Super Cup is being contested between the winner of the Champions League and Confederation Cup.

The old trophy has being in use in the past years and few consultation and discussion, African soccer ruling body decided to drop it for a new one.

RS Berkane of Morocco was the last holder of the old trophy after they defeated Al Ahly of Egypt in the final played in Saudi Arabia last year.

The new trophy will be contested for by Al Ahly of Egypt the current holder of the Champions League and rival Zamalek who is having Confederation Cup in its cabinet.

The one game competition is likely to take place in Riyad Saudi Arabia.
